What US programs pay you to take care of your family member?

Many US programs allow that the caregiver gets paid for their selfless works.

Medicaid self-directed care
Rather than have an agency state how your long term care service is going to be like, you can sign up for Medicaid where you have the autonomy to decide how you are going to be taken care of.

Veteran directed care

- Have limited eyesight
To qualify for this aid, you need to download and fill out a form. You could also have your doctor ascertain on your disabilities.
Some Insurance policies for long term care
If you have a long term care insurance policy, you would find that you are able to hire a caregiver to take care of you. You however do need to check with your insurance broker since not all have this option.
